Lex cursed his luck, stumbling down the fire escape and out into the pounding rain. Soaked through in seconds, Lex suspected that was the least of his problems. Shouts and heavy footsteps drew closer and there was nowhere to hide. The sound of gunfire drove home the hopelessness of his situation.

From somewhere Lex found a burst of speed, but suddenly a sleek black car pulled to a halt, blocking his path. Lex hesitated as an unfamiliar man climbed out.

"Come on!"

"Who the hell are you?"

The man paused, shaking rainwater out of his eyes. "Lex... I'm your brother."
